Description:

This mineral specimen exudes a romantic, feminine charm, featuring delicate pink rhodochrosite forming tiny rose shapes nestled among the quartz crystals. The quartz is exceptionally clear, and the clusters of crystals resemble white bellflowers, harmoniously cradling the pink rhodochrosite.

The Trepča Stari Trg mine in Kosovo has been documented for mining activities since the late Middle Ages and is known as Europe’s largest lead, zinc, and silver ore mine. It was closed due to the war between 1998 and 1999 but reopened in 2005 under the new name Trepča Stari Trg Mine.

This mine produces many common Kosovo mineral specimens, including pyrite, calcite, and pyrrhotite , all known for their excellent quality.
